Sep 19 – Last day in Llanbedr

A nice day in prospect, with light winds, much sunshine but an annoyingly low cloud base. Here, ready to get going.

but the coastal cloud refused to rise enough to get any meaningful soaring.

After a few launches, CC flew back to Dunstable. The promised 3500′ cloud base failed to materialise as you can see from this picture taken from CC a few miles East of Dolgellau.

So, amazingly, ever day of the expedition proved to be flyable. A great place to fly to enjoy the sights of North Wales. A final post will follow showing some stats on the trip.
