Sep 8 – Day off in the sunshine

The sunshine was restricted to the North Wales coast, but a good day to look around or take in the beach.

Meanwhile getting CC, the replacement tug back to Llanbedr was proving much more interesting. After an early departure into low grey overcast, the sky met the ground at the river Severn and a tactical diversion was made to Gloucester. 4 hours later the journey resumed, but it was still rather low over the welsh mountains, so a rather wiggly route via Newtown and Carno to get through at the lowest high point was needed. The coast was clear and we await some wave flying tomorrow.

Meanwhile Ed was bringing 13 over from Dunstable, but taking the high route with a couple of powered climbs over the top the welsh clag.
