May 23rd – Blue Ontur

A completely blue day here, just a few cu visible near the coast. It was rather reluctant to start with a stiff NWly wind. It did eventually lift the gliders to 6500′ with Steve and Andy in the Duo venturing out to Hellin, with Alex in HBB doing the same. It wasn’t easy and after a near landout for the Duo they called it a day and returned to Ontur. The others did a little local soaring. At least it was a warm day after the recent run of Spanish cool weather.
