May 6th – A hot day and 10k cloud base

A lovely hot day in Ontur, light winds and a cloud base well over 10,000′ Dan’s first flight resulted in a 1000′ tow followed by 7.7 kt climb to 9800′, then a 160km round Ontur flight to check out the local scenery, Emily was P2.

Nick Tillett did another fast 400k this one at 111kph.

The Duo’s both got side tracked by a convergence that formed between Yecla in the South East and Alcaraz on the North West corner of the Sierra Segura. A great feature of Ontur gliding when it forms up.
