Dec 9th – Steve’s site check (780km)

Overcast skies greeted Steve’s first day at Kiripotib, but by midday cu began to appear and we launched for a short flight. We took in Gobabis and then flew to the escarpment, by which  time we had a cloud base over 16,000′ and Steve was in ecstasy with the fantastic fat juicy Namibian thermals. I sense another photofest about to occur! but we start with Trevor and me and an interesting shot of the back of my head.

Trevor on his last day, he’s hogged the flying so far with 44 hours and 5100km including 4 x 1000kms, not bad
