Dec 7th – Another stunner (1200+ km)

Having had a day off when someone managed 1400km we thought we’d better make of an effort today. So an early start and a long leg to the South to start then a return to the NW, hoping that a good energy line would develop along the escarpment. It did but not a classic, we did have a pretty good run down to near Keetmanshoop and North again. We passed the Brukeros Crater which you can see on our picture. You might also be interested in a snapshot of the panel showing a netto value of 17 and an average of 11.3kts – not a bad thermal.
